It's built from layers of nanoparticles that isolate heat instead of letting it pass through, and they stay clear while they do it. Nothing to plug in, nothing that moves.

It isolates heat without blocking the light, so it works on a window just as well as a wall.

In our lab, a surface with Avenas Nano ran about ten degrees cooler than the same surface without it. It stayed just as thin, just as clear, and it never drew a watt.
Passive, not powered.
Almost everything else we use against heat has to run on power, wear out, and get serviced. Avenas Nano does none of that, because the cooling is built into the material itself.
